Birthing From Within® Childbirth Classes
Course fee includes all materials and a copy of Birthing from Within.

It's no secret that the processes of labor and birth unfold in often unpredictable ways.  Whether you are planning a hospital birth or homebirth, plan to use medications or not, Birthing From Within classes help you develop the tools and skills to give birth in awareness and get the information you need to make decisions that are right for you.

Birthing From Within classes are tailored to meet your needs and go beyond what is taught in ordinary childbirth preparation classes.  In addition to practical information, these classes use interactive activities to support you to connect with yourself, your baby, and your partner (if present).

You will practice and master proven pain-coping practices to empower yourself to draw on the deep, inner resources that you will use during labor, birth and beyond. We will also discuss the wise and compassionate use of drugs and epidurals.

- Create a birth space (wherever you are) that will help you open in labor
-  Develop a pain-coping mindset through proven concentration and mindfulness practices
- Explore the compassionate use of drugs and epidurals
- Learn about tools and partner support for labor
- Communicate with your provider

- Feed and care for your baby
- Prepare for what to expect as new parents

Taught in a warm, welcoming environment, these classes are limited to five couples to facilitate sharing and intimacy.  Please register early, as classes fill quickly. > Register now
